Introduction

This program is taught entirely in English and is designed to deal with contemporary business issues within a European and international context.

Importantly, students will have the opportunity of learning the French language and of appreciating life in France. Based in Clermont-Ferrand, in the very heart of France, students will have the possibility to study in a historical university campus. All leisure and cultural activities are available and Clermont-Ferrand is ideally situated to discover the south of France, Paris and other European countries.

Academic year

  • Fall semester: from the early September to mid-December.
  • Spring semester: starts in early February through the end of May.
Please note that students can attend for one or two semesters. Students coming for one semester will receive a certificate of achievement, while students coming for two semesters will be awarded our University Diploma in International Business with French.

Location

The program is taught in the historic city of Clermont Ferrand, in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region of France, in an exceptional natural environment classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Clermont Ferrand is also the Sister City of Norman, Oklahoma, United States of America.

Academic level

This program is considered as a real educational complement, which does not categorize it in any of the university academic levels. Each semester, students should complete at least 30 ECTS, which are divided into various classes framework.

Immersion in French culture

French classes are given before, during and at the end of each semester, at the French Language Learning Center FLEURA. They provide students with a linguistic base, and a helpful approach to the life in France. At the same time, students have the opportunity to take part in a tourism-related class, and enjoy visits and activities in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Housing

Depending on the availability of housing services, students can apply to the CROUS student residences. Admission

  • Prerequisites training

    Field of study: Students must have completed at least two years of higher education in business or economics fields, although in certain cases exceptions may be made. This diploma program is taught at final year undergraduate level.

    English proficiency: If none of your higher education was taught in English, we require a minimum score of 79 on the Internet TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS.  If neither of these criteria can be met, a video conference interview in English will be organized to evaluate your level.

    French proficiency: Students should have a good command of the French language, although this program has no specific level in this respect, since it is taught entirely in English.

Tuition

  • For non-exchange students: 1 050 euros per semester, thus 2 100 euros to complete a full year time.
  • For exchange students: totally free of charge.
